Peanut sambar(Shenga saru)

Ingredients :

Roasted Peanut(Skin removed)-1cup
Green chillies-2 to 3 (As per taste)
Garlic-2 pieces
Onion-1/4 cup
Cumin seeds-1/2 tbs spoon
Sesame seeds-1/2 tbs spoon
Turmeric powder-pinch
Tamarind paste-1/2 tbs spoon
Sugar-1/4 tbs spoon
Oil-2 tbs
salt-As required

Preparation

Make a fine paste of roasted peanuts,green chillies,cumin seeds,garlic and water.
Take a pan,Add oil,sesame seeds,cumin seeds,chopped onions,turmeric powder and fry till onions turn golden brown..
Now add the grinded fine paste,water,tamarind paste,sugar and salt as necessary to get a consistency of  soup.

Boil n serve it with Ragi Muddhe

It is a very good combination with ragi mudde (Cooked Ragi balls)
