Aloo Bonda / Potato Bonda

Ingredients :

Boiled Potatoes - 3 medium size
Onions (Finely Chopped) - 1/2 cup
Green Chillies (Finely Chopped) - 3 Chillies
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tbs
Garam Masala - 1/2 tbs
Salt - To Taste
Cilantro Leaves (Chopped) - To Garnish
Oil - For Frying

Preparation :

Mash the boiled potatoes and keep aside.

On the other hand prepare a fine batter with Besan Flour (Chickpea flour),Salt,Ajwain seeds, pinch of Baking soda,Chopped Cilantro leaves and water.


Set this fine batter aside for 20 minutes.
Next take a pan,add 3 tbs oil,green chillies,onions,turmeric powder,salt,Garam masala,Chopped Cilantro leaves and fry till the onions are cooked well.

Now mix the mashed potatoes into it and mix well.Let it cool..


 When it is cooled make small balls from it.

When ready dip each ball in the prepared batter and golden fry on medium flame.


Aloo Bonda's are ready to serve.Enjoy it with Tomato Ketchup.
