Vegetable Momos (Vegetable Dumplings)

Ingredients :

All purpose flour (Maida) - 2 Cups
Cabbage (Grated) - 1/2 Medium Cabbage
Carrot (Grated) - 2 Big Carrots
Green Chillies (Finely Chopped) - 2 Chillies
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbs
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tbs
Salt - To Taste


Preparation :

Prepare dough by mixing All purpose flour,salt and water and add 1/4 tbs oil on top of it and set aside for 1/2 hr.

Now Take a pan,add 2 tbs oil, green chillies,grated cabbage & carrot,ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder,salt and roast for 15 minutes on a medium flame.When done cool it.





Now make small balls out of the dough and roll them in disc shape.

Place 2 tbs of the prepared vegetable filling in the center of each disc and bring the sides together in the center, pinching firmly together to form a dumpling.

Place the steam rack on boiling water and steam the dumpling for 20 minutes on high flame.You can also steam them on idli plates in a pressure cooker.When cooked serve hot vegetable Dumplings with Chilli sauce.

Enjoy Momos when hot..They are really healthy..
