Ingredients :
Baby Capsicum(Slit)-10
Onion(Chopped)-1 small size
Tomato(cut)-1 medium size
Peanuts-1/4 cup
Cumin Seeds-1/2 tbs
Turmeric Powder-1/4 tbs
Garlic(Chopped)-1 clove
Asafoetida (Hing) -A pinch
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tbs
Cilantro Leaves-To Garnish
Salt- To Taste
Tamarind Paste-1/4 tbs
Sesame seeds-2 tbs
Oil-2 tbs
Sugar-1/2 tbs
Gravy Preparation :
Take a pan add Oil,Cumin seeds,Garlic,Onions and roast till they turn golden brown.Then add tomatoes,peanuts,sesame seeds,Turmeric powder,Cilantro leaves and roast till the tomatoes are cooked well.
When done Cool it and grind it into a fine paste by adding Tamarind paste,Sugar,Salt,Red Chilli powder,Asafoetida and water.
Now take the pressure cooker,add 1 tbs oil,slit capsicum and fry them for 2-3 minutes,then add the grinded paste and mix it well.Now cook it on a medium for just one whistle.
Now Garnish it with Cilantro Leaves and Capsicum Curry is ready to serve with Chapati,roti and also rice..
