Gobi (Cauliflower) Manchurian

Ingredients :

Cauliflower Florets - 1 medium Size Cauliflower
Onions (Chopped lengthwise) - 2 medium size Onions
Green Chillies (Chopped) - 2
Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 tbs
Soya Sauce - 2tbs
Tomato Ketchup - 3 tbs
Water - 2 tbs
Chilli Sauce - 1 tbs
Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tbs
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tbs
Sugar - 1/2 tbs
Salt - To Taste
Oil - For Frying
Cabbage ( Chopped) -To Garnish
Cilantro Leaves - To Garnish




For Batter :

Rice Flour - 1 cup
All Purpose Flour (Maida) - 6 tbs
Coarse Sooji - 1/4 cup
Salt - To Taste
Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tbs
Water - As needed

Preparation :

First Step : Prepare a fine batter by mixing all the above ingredients that are needed for the batter preparation.Make sure that the batter is in a medium consistency (Neither too thick nor too thin).



Second Step : Heat Oil,dip cauliflower florets in the batter and fry golden brown on a medium flame.


Third Step (Gravy Preparation) : Take a pan,add 2 tbs oil,cumin seeds,Chillies,Onions and fry till the onions are translucent.When done add ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder,soya sauce,tomato ketchup,water,salt,sugar and boil..When cooked add the fried florets,chilli sauce and mix well.

Garnish With Cilantro Leaves and chopped cabbage..
