Onion Pakora (Kanda Bajji)

Ingredients :

Onions (Cut Lengthwise)- 1 big size
Salt- To Taste
Red Chilli Powder-1/2 tbs
Besan Flour- 6 tbs
Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda)-A pinch
Ajwain- 1/4 tbs
Oil- For Frying

First Step :

Mix Onions,Salt and Red Chilli powder and set aside for 15 minutes.






Second Step :

Now the Onions leave water because of the salt mixed to it.Later add Besan flour, Sodium Bicarbonate and Ajwain and mix it to get a thick consistency.Don't add any amount of water,just mix with the water left by the Onions.



Third Step : Fry Pakora's to golden brown on medium flame from the above mix.


Onion Pakora's are ready to serve with Tomato Ketchup when hot.
