Vegetable Biryani






Ingredients :

Mix Vegetables(Carrot,Beans,Peas,Corn,Cauliflower/Broccoli,Potatoes)-2 cups
Green Chillies(Split)-3
Cinnamon Stick-1/2 inch
Biryani Leaves-3
Onions(Cut Lengthwise)-1 medium Size Onion
Curd/Yogurt-1/2 cup
Ginger-Garlic Paste-1 tbs
Turmeric Powder-1/2 tbs
Biryani Masala(I prefer Priya Biryani Masala)-4 tbs
Basmati Rice(Cooked and cooled)- 2 1/2 cups
Salt- To Taste
Ghee/Butter or Oil-3 tbs
Cilantro leaves(Chopped)-To Garnish

 
Preparation Of Gravy :

Take a Vessel,add ghee/butter/oil,Cinnamon Sticks,Biryani leaves,Green Chillies,Onions and fry till they turn golden brown.Now add Mix vegetables,Turmeric powder,Ginger garlic paste and cook till the vegetables are tender and cooked.When cooked add Biryani Masala,Salt,curd and cook for 5-10 mins on medium flame.You can also add Cashews when frying the onions.

When done add cooked rice and mix it well.Add Cilantro leaves to Garnish.


Now Vegetable Biryani is ready to serve. You can enjoy this recipe with raita.
**Make Sure to cook rice into separate Grains**
