Ingredients For Dough :
All Purpose Flour (Maida) - 2 Cups
Coarse Sooji - 1/4 cup
Salt - To Taste
Yogurt (Curd) - 1/2 cup
Oil - For Frying
Dough Preparation :
Mix all the above ingredients and for a fine dough and keep aside for 20 minutes.
Now take a small amount of dough about a ball size and roll it flat.
Now cut this rolled dough into vertical pieces as shown below.
Now roll each vertical strip and keep aside.
Next heat oil and fry these to golden brown in color on a medium flame.
Sugar Syrup Ingredients :
Sugar - 3 Cups
Water - 1 1/2 Cup
Cardamom powder - 1/2 tbs
Preparation Of Syrup :
Mix water and sugar in a saucepan and boil it on medium flame until the sugar is dissolved.Now add Cardamom powder and boil it till u get a string/line when u add a drop of syrup in water.
When the sugar syrup is ready add the fried rolls into the syrup and mix well.
You can garnish it with Cardamom powder.Now cool it and Chiroti sweet is ready to eat.
